PROCEDURE:

In a small saucepan, melt 50 grams of butter with the Qwik-Flo® Molasses Granules. Spread this mixture on the bottom of an 8”x8” square pan. Arrange the drained peaches over the sugar mixture.

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon.

In a large bowl, cream the rest of the butter with the granulated sugar. Beat the egg yolks. Alternately beat in the flour mixture with the milk and vanilla until well-blended.

In a small bowl, beat egg whites to stiff peaks. Fold the egg whites into the batter. Spread over peach slices.

Bake for 55-60 minutes at 350° F. Cool for ten minutes and turn cake onto plate.
