Mix water and Qwik-Flo® Molasses
Granules and heat to boiling. Stir until granules
are dissolved.
Pour hot mixture over shortening and stir to combine
well.
Mix together flour, baking soda, ginger, salt and add
to molasses mixture. Stir until blended.
Roll out dough on unfloured board with a rolling pin.
Roll the dough as thin as possible. Cut into 1-1/2"
rounds with cookie cutter.
Bake at 350° F for 5-6 minutes, until the ginger
snaps are crisp and dry.
