PROCEDURE: Dissolve yeast in 115g warm water.

Stir in Qwik-Flo® Honey Granules, shortening, salt, water and whole wheat flour. Beat until smooth.

Mix in all-purpose flour until the dough is easy to handle.

Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and knead about ten (10) minutes. When the dough is smooth and elastic, place into a greased bowl, greased side up, and cover. Let rise in a warm place for one (1) hour.

Punch down dough, divide into halves. Flatten each half into 18" x 9". Fold into thirds and roll, sealing after each turn. Place loaves, seam side down, into two greased baking pans (9" x 5" x 3"). Brush with butter and let rise one (1) hour.

Bake at 375°F for 40-45 minutes. Remove and cool.
