PROCEDURE:

Place Brownulated®, FreshVert®, corn syrup, salt and evaporated milk into a double boiler a remelt kettle. While mixing, heat to 160º F to dissolve the sugar.

Remove from heat. Add the butter and mix until melted (approximately 140º F).

Add AMERFOND® and mix well.

Gently heat to 120º - 125º F, if necessary.

Pour and spread into heavy waxed paper lined trays, pans or boxes.
