PROCEDURE:

Mix the Brownulated®, FreshVert®, corn syrup, salt and evaporated milk into a double boiler. While stirring, heat to 170º F to dissolve the sugar.

Mix in cottonseed oil and let the batch cool to 140º F.

Add AMERFOND® (and nuts, if desired). Mix well.

Gently reheat to 140º F.

Pour and spread into waxed paper lined trays, pans or boxes.
