PROCEDURE:

Place the AMERFOND®, evaporated milk, corn syrup, FreshVert® and salt into a double boiler or a remelt kettle. Heat, while stirring, to 140°F.

Remove from heat. Add melted cottonseed oil flakes and mix until uniform.

Mix in the peanut butter (and roasted peanuts, if desired).

Gently heat to 140°F.

Pour and spread into heavy waxed paper lined trays, pans or boxes.
